Dr. Rajgopal is one of the most experienced orthopedic surgeons in the country having served as the Honorary Orthopedic surgeon to the President of India in 1997. Dr. Rajgopal’s professional achievements include conducting 9950 arthroscopies and over 3200 arthroplasties, conducting the first bilateral total knee replacement surgery (Apr’87) and the first MIS unicompartmental replacement (Mar’02). He has carried out over 100 MIS total knee replacement surgeries and has even developed specialized instrumentation for the procedure.

Dr. Mahant, an M.S and M.Ch from Chandigarh brings with him more than 26 years of rich experience having worked in prestigious institutions in the country and overseas.

Dr. Mahant is credited with over 15,000 surgeries during his career which include a large number of redo, pediatric, valve replacements and other complicated bypass surgeries. He is reputed to have operated successfully on all types of patients from newborns to 90-year-olds. his expertise involves coronary artery bypass surgery and valve replacement surgeries for infants and children with complex heart disease.

Over the years he has trained in Australia, New Zealand & the United States of America, having held a number of senior posts there. Dr. Mahant was also Professor of Cardiac Surgery at SGPGI, Lucknow.
